Earlier in 2016 I spent some time on site in the fantastic setting of Henry Moore’s home and adjoining visitor centre at Perry Green, Hertfordshire. We supplied various bespoke items for the archive and visitor centre refurbishment by Hugh Broughton Architects, ready for its opening in July.
Late on in the brief it was requested that this small desk should be able to open in a discreet manner, to allow visitors through.
Working with the architects we agreed a design and set to work. With the opening approaching the first time the components came together was onsite. Working with minimal tolerance the geometry worked perfectly.
I rarely video my furniture but this occasion seemed appropriate.
