The Henry Moore Foundation.
The archive reading roomI was delighted to team up with Hugh Broughton Architects again to supply the bespoke furniture items as part of the second stage implementation of their Masterplan to enhance the Henry Moore Foundation Visitor Centre and Archive, centred around his home at Perry Green in Hertfordshire. Henry Moore had favoured American Grey Elm which was specified as the timber for both the Reading Room shelves and main reception storage cabinets and wall cladding. The reading room has access to the main archive which is climate controlled and will not be operational for a year to ensure a safe environment. In the meantime the reading room houses an introduction to his life and work.
